Turlock City Skate Park to be renamed and dedicated to local skater

 

Turlock City Skate Park will be renamed and dedicated to a local skateboarder who died from Adrenocortical Carcinoma, a rare form of cancer, last year.

Brandon Koch was described as an avid skateboarder and friend to all by his aunt, Judith Suliman. The park, located on Starr Street, will be renamed Brandon Koch Memorial Skate Park.

A dedication will take place on Friday, April 12 at 1 p.m.

Magic Dan will be performing at the Turlock Library on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The audience is sure to be entertained with a magical performance that includes comedy and wonderful illusions. This program also reinforces the importance of libraries and literacy.
