Suspect identified in Turlock fatal hit and run | News

TURLOCK, CA - Turlock police now have a name for the suspected driver in a Nov. 3 hit and run fatal crash who allegedly left his passenger to die.

Investigators are looking for Jose Jesus Aguilar, 19, of Delhi, said Sgt. Stephen Webb.

Web said Aguilar was behind the wheel of his car when he lost control of it and smashed into a tree and then hit a house on the 1200 block of Lander Avenue in Turlock that Saturday. Passenger Taylor Vessel, 18, was partially ejected and soon died.

Aguilar was described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He usually wear his long black hair in a braided ponytail. He has a tattoo of four dots under his left eye and one dot under his right eye.
