Turlock police officer wrecks during pursuit | Crime
TURLOCK, Calif. - A Turlock police officer wrecked while assisting Stanislaus County sheriff's deputies pursue a reportedly stolen vehicle Thursday morning.
Turlock Police Dept. officer Mayra Lewis said the crash occurred on the 1700 block of N. Tulley Rd. in Turlock around 7:24 a.m.
The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said Lewis.
Lewis did not detail how the officer crashed, or whether anyone else was involved in the collision.
