Suspects fire at police during attempted arrest | Crime

OAKDALE, CA- Two men were taken into custody on Tuesday evening after one of the suspects fired a shot at police during an attempt at escaping arrest.

According to The Oakdale Police Department, officers responded to report of two men breaking into homes and stealing guns at around 6 p.m. 

After catching up to the suspects one of the men fired at the officers.
Police eventually found and arrested one of the suspects after putting up a one and a half square mile perimeter, shortly after.

According to Oakdale Police they eventually found the second suspect at around 9 p.m.

Oakdale Police said they found a few of the weapons on the suspects that were stolen during the robberies.

Neither of the officers were hit.
