Oakdale police seek leads in fatal hit and run | Crime

OAKDALE, CA - Police were looking for two individuals in connection to a hit and run collision that killed a 60-year-old Oakdale man Thursday night.

Ronald Wayne Anderson, aka "Sundance", did not survive his injuries after being hit by a light-colored Toyota Corolla, model year early 2000s, said Officer Daniel Peters.

The car will have damage to the front end, Peters said.

Witnesses said there were two males in the car but there were no further descriptions. Also, police said they could not release the location of the hit and run which was reported at approximately 8:50 p.m..

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has seen a car matching the one described was urged to call police at (209) 847-2231 and ask for Peters.
