Daughter, 18, to face charges in parents' murder, attempted murder | Crime

MODESTO, CA - The daughter of a Denair couple she is accused of stabbing, her father fatally, will stand trial.

Following a preliminary hearing, a Stanislaus County Superior Court judge ruled there was sufficient evidence to try 18-year-old Shanna Wills for the murder of Kenneth Wills, 62, and Susan Wills on Mother's Day, May 14, 2011.

Shanna Wills, who was 17 at the time of the attack, will be arraigned on murder, attempted murder and assault charges when she is arraigned in July. She is being tried as an adult.

A motive for the stabbings has not been revealed.
