Turlock Library Book Club

Join fellow book lovers at Turlock Library on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 10:30 a.m. for the Turlock Library Book Club. January’s book club pick is “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” by Jamie Ford.  Readers will be captivated by the story of Henry Lee, a Chinese-American, and his recollections of wartime Seattle.

Saturday Movie at the Oakdale Library

Saturday Movie at the Oakdale Library

Come watch a family favorite at the Oakdale Library on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m.  Participants will have the opportunity to watch “Brave,” the 2012 computer-animated adventure. The audience is sure to be entertained by the story of Merida, a skilled archer in the Scottish Highlands.  Books will also be displayed and available for checkout at the showing.
