Songs of Shakespeare for Children at the Ripon Branch Library | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Characters)
On Wednesday, September 5th the Ripon Branch Library presented The Songs of Shakespeare for Children. Shakespeare’s plays were funny, sad, silly, romantic and often had music and songs to set the mood.
Lynn Sampson of Music First, Inc. has been teaching children about music and its history for years, so the kids had an opportunity to learn where popular music started and gain a greater appreciation for all musical forms.
Continue the learning by checking out books, reviewing online databases and searching the Internet- all for free at your local public library!
This free program is provided through the generosity of local business and service groups. The Ripon Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 333 W.
