Riverbank Library Book Club

Join fellow book lovers at the Riverbank Library on Tuesday, May 28 at 4 p.m. for the Riverbank Library Book Club. May’s book club pick is “The Help” by Katherine Stockett. Readers will enjoy the story of African-American maids working in the South during the 1960s and one woman’s quest to document their lives.

Shakespeare for All at the Modesto Library

Shakespeare for All at the Modesto Library

Community members will perform “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Modesto Library on Saturday, May 11 at 12 p.m. This production will be directed by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and provides an excellent opportunity for children, teens, and adults in our community to become interested in the works of William Shakespeare!

This free program is made possible through a grant from the James Irvine Foundation.
